FAQ
Why a cooled detector?
Cooled FPA detectors reach 1024×768 resolution at 10 um pitch with far higher sensitivity than uncooled arrays – that is what pushes IR detection to 17.5 km (manufacturer specification).
How long until it is ready?
Cooldown completes in 2.5 min or less at ambient temperature, then the binocular runs 6 h or more on eight 18650 cells.
