Highlights

Sees sub-millimeter motion

Interferometric phase comparison resolves deformations far below visual detection — weeks of early warning.

Non-contact and continuous

No instruments on the hazard face; monitoring continues through weather, day and night.

Light and relocatable

Transportable assembly moves between slopes, dams, bridges and open pits as the project dictates.

Applications

Open-pit slope monitoring · Dam and reservoir walls · Bridges and large structures · Landslide and snow-ridge hazard watch

FAQ

What does ±0.1 mm mean in practice?
The radar resolves sub-millimeter displacements across the whole scene each image cycle — movement trends become visible long before visual failure signs.

How does it handle atmospheric effects on the radar phase?
GB-SAR phase measurements are sensitive to temperature and humidity along the path; the system applies atmospheric correction models and, where needed, corner-reflector calibration targets to keep the sub-millimeter displacement budget honest over long unattended runs (manufacturer specification).

Does it need instruments on the slope?
No — measurement is non-contact from a stable point up to 3 km away.

Who watches it at night?
Nobody has to: remote monitoring with automated alarm thresholds runs unattended.
